Tam Storrar appointed chef director of Blanchette
Tam Storrar has been promoted to shareholder and chef director across the Blanchette Soho and Blanchette East restaurants.
A second branch of Blanchette was launched in London's east end on Brick Lane last summer, offering a similar tapas-style French menu to the original site alongside more North African flavours. The opening of Blanchette East also saw Storrar take on the role of executive chef across both restaurants, developing French sharing plates unique to each site.
Storrar has previously worked at the Colwall Park hotel in Malvern, Worcestershire, and spent ten years working his way up to senior sous chef at Bibendum in London.
Managing director Maxime Alary said: "The brother family is bigger and glad to have Tam as our new business partner, he has been instrumental to the success of Blanchette and his appointment comes as a well deserved addition to the family."
