Smoothie bar Joe & the Juice to open 16th UK site

Smoothie and juice group Joe & the Juice is to open its 16th UK site, in London's Marylebone.

The 20-plus cover, 942 sq ft venue on the corner of Wigmore Street and Thayer Street is currently undergoing a refit, and is on the site of former café, Carmina & Lancelot.

The brand, which is headquartered in Copenhagen, has nine stores in London and the South East, three in the Birmingham area, two in Manchester, and one in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Its other sites are mainly concentrated in Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

London-based Restaurant Property, the international leisure specialist, advised Carmina & Lancelot on the deal.

Sally French, of Restaurant Property, said: "This is a modern, forward-thinking brand that complements the vibrant food and beverage scene in Marylebone."
