Broadcaster, restaurateur and author Simon Wright has been awarded the Wales the True Taste Champion Award for his "dedication and devotion to Welsh food and drink".
The annual awards, which are organised by the Welsh Assembly Government, recognise companies and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Welsh food and drink industry.
Wright, who previously won a True Taste Award for Y Polyn, was recognised for achievements including editing the AA Restaurant Guide and presenting The Wright Taste on BBC Wales as well as educating young children on food and introducing cooking lessons into schools.
Wright also recently published his second book The Wright Taste, based on his 12-month experience of farming as a rookie smallholder.
Other winners were Stephen Terry, whose restaurant, the Hardwick in Abergavenny, picked up the gold award in the restaurants category, with the Welcome to Town in Swansea and the Caesars Arms in Creigiau winning silver and bronze respectively.
Meanwhile, Tyddyn Llan in Llandrillo, Corwen, won the gold medal in the hotels category, with silver and bronze going to Llys Meddyg in Newport and Gwesty Cymru in Gwesty Cymru.
