Restaurant sparks blaze at Fleet Services

A fire that started in a restaurant at Fleet Services in Hampshire has spread through the service station.

The blaze led to the temporary closure of the M3 southbound carriageway, according to the BBC.

It reported that 50 firefighters were sent to the scene and that the fire was contained with no reports of injuries.

A fire service spokesman said: "It started in one of the restaurants in the services and it spread from there, but we have stopped it from spreading throughout the whole building."
