Orchid Group creates 30-strong Do Drop Inns division

Pub and restaurant group Orchid has created a new division of 30 pubs called ‘Do Drop Inns'.

The company said the pubs would have their own unique feel and would put learning from the other Orchid divisions into practice.

The name is inspired by the group's Dew Drop Inn pub in Oxford, and will be rolled out in early 2013. It replaces the Modern British division, and is inspired by the success of Orchid's Pizza Kitchen Bars division.

"Each pub under Do Drop Inns will retain its individuality and name, but by being part of the Do Drop Inns we can assure customers of high standards in every area across every single pub."

Orchid said Do Drop Inns would work with Cask Marque to assure the quality of its real ales, while it would offer wines supplied by Bibendum.
