New Gordon Ramsay Group site London House to open in 2014

New Gordon Ramsay Group restaurant London House is set to open in London's Battersea Square in February 2014.

Intended as a "neighbourhood" venue, the site will offer modern European-style food in a separate dining room, while a drinks lounge will serve spirits, original cocktails, a select wine list and London-brewed beers.

Irish chef Anna Kelly will oversee the kitchen, having previously worked in Ireland, France, Spain, London and Los Angeles. All produce will be as locally sourced and "artisan" as possible, with the restaurant set to open for lunch from Friday to Sunday and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday.

The decor will focus on relaxation, including a fireplace and wooden floors, with leather sofas and a colour palette of grey and slate blue.

The new site will be the latest addition to the Gordon Ramsay Group, which comprises the 25 restaurants and bars under the name of the British restaurateur, chef and TV presenter. His sites run to 7 Michelin stars across Europe, the US and the Middle East.

Its most recent, high-profile UK opening was the Union Street Café in Southwark, London, but the flagship site is the three-Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, under chef-patron Clare Smyth.
