Mother and Wright Brothers among restaurants set for Battersea Power Station

Five new restaurants have been announced as opening at the £9b regeneration of Battersea Power Station in south London this summer.

Pizza restaurant Mother and seafood specialists Wright Brothers will be joined by burger bar Ben's Canteen, Duckroad and Dodds Gin on what the developers are describing as Circus West Village on the south bank of the Thames.

It will be the first UK site for Mother, which hails from Copenhagen's meatpacking district, while the new development will home the fifth London Wright Brothers site.

Duckroad will be the sister restaurant to Soho's Ducksoup and Rawduck in London Fields, which offer an eclectic range of seasonal dishes.

The restaurants will join a number of retailers already secured at Circus West Village including restaurant Pedler Cru, wine shop Vagabond, Flour Power City Bakery, the CoffeeWorks Project and bar and restaurant No. 29, Power Station West.
