Mitch Tonks to open RockFish restaurant in Plymouth

Chef-restaurateur Mitch Tonks has confirmed details of his latest RockFish outlet, set to open in Ocean City, Plymouth, next month.

Located at the National Marine Aquarium at the Barbican, RockFish Sutton Harbour will be Tonks' largest restaurant to date, accommodating 120 covers in the restaurant, 50 in the takeaway and outside dining for 80.

Commenting on his latest venture, Tonks said: "Our new restaurant is in such an amazing location, beside the National Marine Aquarium and Plymouth fish market down at the Barbican, what better place to eat seafood? Our aim is to make great seafood fun and accessible to all."

Tonks' restaurant serve MSC certified cod and haddock as well as local fish from the South Coast fisheries and from Plymouth fish market.

The menu features fish and chips as well as oysters, crabs, prawns and other seafood.
