Million Pound Menu's Finca announces Manchester residency

Cuban street-food brand Finca will take up a summer residency in Manchester's Spinningfields after securing investment from Living Ventures' co-founder Jeremy Roberts on the BBC's Million Pound Menu.

The concept will open inside Artisan's café bar from Thursday 7 June serving food from midday to 9pm, seven days a week, with DJs providing entertainment at weekends.

The menu will include dishes featured on the show such as cubanos, a sandwich filled with mojo-marinated pork shoulder, horseshoe gammon, pickles, mustard and gouda cheese.

Finca's founders have said they will also offer classic Cuban cocktails and a number of vegetarian and vegan options.

Michael Harrison, chef and co-founder of Finca, said: "We've been perfecting our craft for the past two years in the north west street food scene with Finca so it's brilliant to have this opportunity to take over a prime location at Artisan to bring our food to the forefront and put our plans into motion. We have huge plans for Finca and believe that Artisan is the perfect place to start our Manchester journey. We're currently busy planning new menu additions and exciting events ready for our launch next month."

Jeremy Roberts, co-founder of Living Ventures, added: "We are excited to welcome Finca to Artisan. They impressed a lot of people while on Million Pound Menu
