What better way to consider this year's new stars than via Twitter? The results themselves were announced this morning via the social networking site, on the new account @MichelinGuideUK.
Congratulations and reactions started pouring in from the moment the new names were released.
The London restaurants were immediately flooded with responses:
Fera at Claridge's
Although hardly a surprise, Simon Rogan's London outpost was thrilled with the news. Claridge's Twitter account itself congratulated the restaurant team, saying it was "proud":
@ClaridgesHotel: Congratulations @simon_rogan and wonderful team @FeraAtClaridges for their first #Michelin star #proud #perfectradish
While Fera's own account thanked everyone, before getting back to work…
@FeraAtClaridges: Thanks to every member of the Fera Team, @ClaridgesHotel and ALL who have supported us. Very, very happy and proud! Now for lunch service!
Fera's wild-inspired name even merited a lyrical tweet from Michelin itself:
@MichelinGuideUK: Wild thing, you made our heart sing. A #MichelinStar returns to Claridge's @FeraAtClaridges
Jason Atherton's Tower 42 restaurant congratulated its team:
"@CitySocial_T42: Amazing news to be awarded a Michelin star @MichelinGuideUK well done to all the team. @paulwalshchef @Andy_Downton @_JasonAtherton"
While Michelin itself suggested that Atherton's nose for recruiting serious talent had helped him win:
@MichelinGuideUK: Jason Atherton keeps recruiting serious talent. #Michelin Star for the high-rise @CitySocial_T42"

The Fitzrovia site, which is found behind the main Bubbledogs space, was proud and excited to have won:
