Michael Clark appointed director of operations and wine at Clos Maggiore

Michael Clark has been appointed director of operations and wine at Clos Maggiore in London's Covent Garden.

Clark, who was previously general manager at Le Pont de la Tour, joins the French restaurant, which holds two AA rosettes, alongside Dominique Corolleur, who has been appointed restaurant manager.

Corolleur was restaurant manager at Hélène Darroze at The Connaught and, before that, restaurant director for seven years at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's.

Luca Ravagnati has also joined the Clos Maggiore team as wine director from The Ledbury, where he was restaurant manager. In 2001 Ravagnati was named Italian sommelier of the year.
