Liverpool's Graffiti Spirits Group to launch fried chicken and arcade concept
The operator of Liverpool's US BBQ concept Slim's Pork Chop Express will launch a chicken and arcade concept on the site this summer.
The Seel Street location will play host to 16 Bit Chicken, offering a range of gourmet takeaway chicken alongside a hidden retro arcade room with 16 machines including Pac Man, Point Blank, Time Crisis and Golden Axe.
Operator Graffiti Spirits Group, which also operates Salt Dogs Slims, Santa Chupitos and Santa Maluco in the city, closed the Slim's Pork Chop Express concept at the start of the year stating it was "the right time to change".
Group co-founder Matt Farrell said: "16 Bit Chicken will be the first of its kind in Liverpool. We're combining moreish takeaway food with a retro arcade that will take our guests on a journey, and hark back to the days where these games were really popular.
"Seel Street is packed with bars and restaurants so 16 Bit Chicken will be ideal for a late night bite or for an alternative way to spend the night with friends and family."
