Honest Burgers to open new fifth site, near London's Oxford Street
London-based burger chain Honest Burgers is to open a new site, near Oxford Street in the capital's West End.
Expected to open in April, the 1,200 sq ft site will be the sixth unit for the brand, which serves a menu focusing on freshly-made burgers and rosemary-salted chips.
The new opening, at 4 Market Place, joins the brand's existing five sites in locations including Soho, Camden, Portobello Road and King's Cross.
At one point occupied by bagel brand Bagelmania, the formerly-A1 site will be converted into A3 by Honest Burgers, which has successfully applied for a change of use license.
It has been signed on a 15-year lease with landlord the Langham Estate, advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs.
The first Honest Burgers site was opened in Brixton Village in 2011, by Tom Barton, Phil Eeles and Dorian Waite. The brand recently launched a new #BrewBurger in association with Scottish craft beer company BrewDog, which includes beer-fried onions and beer-candied bacon.
