Home House appoints Adrian Martin as executive head chef

Adrian Martin is set to become the new executive head chef of private members' club Home House.

Martin has 28 years' as a chef, having worked in senior roles, including as head chef at the Rextail restaurant and executive chef for the Birley group for five years, overseeing Annabel's, Marks Club and Harry's Bar.

Home House has two restaurants - House 19, a relaxed brasserie which boasts south facing views over Portman Square, and the Octagon restaurant, located in House 21, with a modern design and an Asian-fusion menu.

In addition to the restaurants, Martin will also oversee room service for the 21 suites and bedrooms, daily breakfast and afternoon tea served in the drawing rooms and House 19 restaurant, as well as the bar menu served in the Bison bar.

Andrew Richardson, managing director of Home House, said: "As a chef by profession and having worked in kitchens across the world, I appreciate the challenging task that an executive chef takes on when they are appointed to this position at Home House. Adrian has the experience and knowledge to both effectively manage the House's many and varied food offerings as well as continuing to develop exciting menus and recipes to delight our member's taste buds. We are thrilled to have him on board."

Martin added: "I am delighted to be joining the Home House team. I look forward to putting my stamp on the menu and raising the culinary bar ever higher for the club's members and their guests."
