Hakkasan opens five-level restaurant and nightclub in Las Vegas
Chinese restaurant group Hakkasan has unveiled details of its forthcoming outpost in Las Vegas, which will comprise a five-level restaurant and nightclub.
A partnership with the Angel Management Group, Hakkasan Las Vegas will be located at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and will include a nightclub opening tomorrow (18 April) and a restaurant with central kitchen and a private dining room launching on 3 May.
The restaurant, located on the first level will be separated by latticed woodwork known as the "Cage" allowing for intimate dining spaces, while a private dining room on the second level will overlook the main room.
At the heart of the restaurant will be the kitchen, headed up by Michelin-starred executive chef Ho Chee Boon, who will serve Hakkasan classics such as stir-fried black pepper rib-eye beef with Merlot, and silver cod with champagne and Chinese honey.
Meanwhile on the third floor will be the Ling Ling Club, a 10,000sq ft venue also featuring the Ling Ling Lounge, which will offer a more relaxed atmosphere.
The main nightclub will be located on the fourth level where oversized VIP booths surround a main dance floor. Adjacent will be the pavilion, which will feature an oriental garden, its own DJ booth, the Garden Bar, an amphitheater-style setting, a water feature and life-like foliage.
Finally on the fifth level, elevated above the main nightclub, will be the mezzanine VIP area, providing a more intimate clubbing experience.
"Combining our nightlife and entertainment expertise with such a reputable name in the culinary world has produced a venue that will provide an unforgettable experience for all who visit Hakkasan Las Vegas," said Neil Moffitt, CEO of Angel Management Group. "After more than two years of hard work and intricate planning, we are thrilled to open the venue and see our guests' reactions."
Hakkasan CEO Didier Souillat added: "We view a partnership with Angel Management Group as an invaluable asset to the Hakkasan brand's first venture into nightlife. It's been a thrilling process to fuse our award-winning dining program with immersive nightlife elements to create an all-encompassing venue for our foray into Las Vegas."
