Fullers acquires 51% share in cider and pizza group the Stable

Fullers has acquired a 51% share in craft cider and pizza business the Stable.

It is investing £7.3m for its share of the six sites, along with the freehold of the Bull hotel in Bridport, Dorset.

The pub group said it planned to expand the business - established in the South West by Richard and Nikki Cooper - across the south of England.

The business began at the Bull, which has 19 bedrooms, in a stable on the site. The Coopers have since expanded it to restaurants in Weymouth, Bristol, Bath, Poole and Newquay.

Fullers said there was an option to increase its investment in the future.
