Frankie & Benny's to open at Cardiff Bay

Cardiff's first restaurant-only destination has signed up its first tenant.

New York Italian themed restaurant chain Frankie & Benny's will be the first eatery to open its doors on 27 November in Cardiff Bay.

Andrew Gibson, a spokesperson for property consultant DTZ, which is advising the Compton Group, described Dunleavy Drive as an "excellent location".

"With Ikea and the Ferry Road retail park immediately to the north and with an ever expanding population of people living and working in Cardiff Bay we are very confident that the Dunleavy Drive units will all be occupied by early 2008."

Restaurant group Frankie & Benny's currently has 150 restaurant outlets throughout the UK.
