Franco Manca to open on former Draft House site

The former site of the Draft House in East Dulwich is expected to become a Franco Manca pizza restaurant.

The Draft House at 21 Lordship Lane opened in April 2012 and closed late last year.

Franco Manca, which specialises in slow-rising sourdough pizzas, currently has six sites. Its seventh site in Broadway Market in Hackney is due to open in mid-to-late February, while the East Dulwich restaurant will open in mid to late summer.

Meanwhile, the business is also thought to have secured a ninth site on London's Bermondsey Street, although it is not clear precisely where or when it will launch.

The Draft House, owned and run by Charlie McVeigh, now has five sites, although the business is expected to open another new site soon.
