FishWorks restaurant comes to London's Primrose Hill

Rapidly-expanding restaurant-fishmongers chain FishWorks has exchanged contracts on its ninth site in north London.

The Primrose Hill restaurant will have 40 seats. News of the deal comes days after the company signed a deal for a FishWorks in Richmond, South-west London.

Chief executive Roy Morris said: "We are confident that the style, ‘foodie' focus and people living in this ‘city village' area suit the FishWorks offering perfectly."

Richmond will house the company's first full-time cookery school and training facility when it opens in March of next year.

FishWorks plans to have at least 19 restaurants by the middle of 2008.

In June the company's move from OFEX to the Alternative Investment Market raised £3.8m to fund growth.
