Exeter restaurant-bar Jags relaunched as Lily's restaurant

Jags restaurant and café bar in the centre of the Devon city of Exeter has been renamed Lily's Restaurant by new leaseholders Stephen and Amanda McCann.

Jags was a contemporary bar and restaurant in Fore Street, a short walk from the cathedral and main shopping area. A lock-up in a terrace, it comprised a 30-seat ground-floor café bar and a 50-seat dining room with a bar servery.

Lily's is a 60-seat restaurant with a French theme that aims to provide affordable fine dining.

Bettesworths sold the brand new, 21-year, free-of-tie lease off an asking price of £90,000. Rent starts at £35,000 a year.
