Enterprise Inns continues to flourish

Business has continued to be brisk at Enterprise Inns, the UK's largest independent pub operator.

The group, which operates more than 9,000 pubs, announced today in a pre-close trading statement that it had increased operating profit per pub by about 8% year-on-year.

Enterprise is confident this will lead to annual savings in the region of £25m.

The group also announced that Graham Turner, managing director at Unique, will leave at the end of the month.
