Enterprise Inns has acquired the Smugglers Inn at Seaton, near Looe, in South Cornwall.

The modernised 17th century cottage is just 50 yards back from the beach and is near both the Seaton Wildlife Country Park and the Monkey Sanctuary.

Facilities include a paved patio forecourt that can seat up to 60 customers, a themed 44-seat restaurant, a character bar, and a 36-seat lounge/function room with a dance floor and DJ console.

On the accommodation front, there are three en-suite letting bedrooms, a chef's bedsitting room, and a two-bedroom staff flat with kitchenette.

Bettesworths sold the freehold off a guide price of £695,000.
