The creator of the Diesel fashion brand, Renzo Rosso, has launched his own wine collection.

Originating from his home town of Bassano, Italy, the range includes Bianco di Rosso, Rosso di Rosso and Nero di Rosso.

Rosso will sell only 55 bottles of each wine in the UK, available at London restaurants Zuma, Roka, the River Café and Les Trois Garçons. Prices are expected to start at £140 for the red and £100 for the white.

Since 1999 the Diesel farm in Italy has produced 2,000 bottles of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The farm has one hectare of vineyards.

Rosso said: "Each vine produces only two or three bunches of grapes, from which we make 300 bottles of pure genius."
