Devon operator buys Thai restaurant in Bristol

Devon-based restaurateur Robbie Ho has bought the Thai Palace restaurant in the prestigious Clifton area of Bristol.

The 120-seat restaurant in Park Row occupies around 2,400 sq ft across the ground and lower-ground floors of a mid-terrace period property with a late license allowing music and dancing.

The Bristol office of Christie + Co sold the remainder of the 20-year leasehold off a guide price of £100,000 and a current rent of £28,000.

The vendor, Peter Tan, retains his stake in the Thai Classic restaurant in Whiteladies Road, Bristol. . Annual rent is currently set at £28,000.
