D&D London reveal plans for first restaurant in Scotland

D&D London is to develop a restaurant in the Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow.

Located on the upper two floors of the building, the restaurant will have an outdoor terrace offering views over Glasgow's skyline.

D&D London chairman and chief executive Des Gunewardena said: "We are very pleased to announce the opening of our first restaurant in Scotland. Glasgow ranks only second to London as a centre for retail in the UK and we have secured an absolutely stunning site."

John Grimes, retail leasing director at Land Securities, added: "Securing such high profile tenants at this early stage of the development process demonstrates the demand for the very best retail space in Glasgow's famous shopping district."

D&D is also rumoured to be planning a new restaurant in another Land Securities development - Nova, in London's Victoria, which is still under construction.
