Cinnamon Club to close for £1m refurbishment

03 August 2015 by

The Cinnamon Club in Westminster is to close for a six week refurbishment.

It will reopen after the £1m facelift on 10th September with a new look and revised menu from executive chef Vivek Singh and head chef Rakesh Ravindran Nair.

A colour scheme of jewel blues and teal will be employed throughout the private dining room and mezzanine, while the oak flooring will be restored. The main dining room, which will retain its exposed bookcases, will feature brown and lapis blue tones.

New menu additions will include large sharing dishes that will be brought to diners on a trolley and carved tableside. Some new dishes will also be devised for the 10 course tasting menu.

Meanwhile, a gin trolley will be introduced to the main dining room, offering a selection of cocktails using artisan gins.

Vivek Singh said: "The Cinnamon Club has never been content with standing still and has always pushed the boundaries with creativity and innovation. The refurbishment is another step in that direction to ensure we are at the cutting edge of London's dining scene."
