Chris Galvin to be new chef-patron at Hilton's Windows restaurant
Chris Galvin is to be the new chef-patron at Hilton's iconic restaurant Windows at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
The landmark restaurant on the 28th floor of the hotel is to be transformed into a new modern-French eaterie under Galvin's direction.
The new restaurant will be called Galvin at Windows and is due to reopen on 19 May following a £1.5m refurbishment.
Galvin, who last year opened an eponymous restaurant on Baker Street along with his brother Jeff, will be chef-patron in a joint venture with the London Hilton on Park Lane.
The head chef will be Andre Garrett, currently head chef at Conran's one-Michelin-starred Orrery restaurant in Marylebone, London.
