Chef Leandro Carreira to launch pop-up with One Leicester Street
Chef Leandro Carriera and One Leicester Street, the London Chinatown restaurant, bar and rooms site, are to team up to launch a new pop-up restaurant this spring.
The "supper club-style" restaurant will run for three months from 14 March, with Carreira creating a weekly-changing menu with accompanying cocktails and wine from biodynamic grower sources.
Guests will sit at long, communal tables and food will include dishes such as fried clams, brown crab with leek and salted cucumber, cuttlefish with cabbage and lardo, Iberico pork with turnips, and salted almonds with vanilla and toasted milk.
There will be two sittings every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening during the pop-up, with tickets costing £88 per person.
One Leicester Street has 15 rooms, and is run by Singaporean hotelier Loh Lik Peng. Its bar is especially known for its unusual cocktails from "the Talented Mr Fox" barman, Matt Whiley.
Its usual breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte restaurant will run normally during the pop-up.
