Cau to open Henley-on-Thames restaurant

Restaurant group Cau is to open a new restaurant in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, this November.

The restaurant, at 38 Hart Street, will seat 120 and will serve Cau's grass-fed Argentinian beef, as well as Cau's own-brand wines.

Highlights include a Tira de Ancho; a spiral cut of rib-eye, marinated in chimichurri and grilled slowly for maximum tenderness and the Lomito, a fillet of rump, combining the flavour of rump and the tenderness of fillet.

Operations director Graham Hall said: "Our speciality cuts are obviously something very special, unique for the high street but it's the attention to detail and the ethos of making everything fresh on site that really sets us apart from the rest."

As reported earlier this year by The Caterer, the company is also set to open a new site in Wimbledon Village, south London, this November, at 33 High Street.
