Cau to open Bristol site
Restaurant group Cau is to open a 150-cover site in Bristol next month - its sixth in the UK and largest to date.
The new restaurant in the Triangle area of the city officially opens on 4 August.
It will be the first Cau restaurant to offer breakfast, with dishes on the menu including steak and eggs, classic eggs benedict with an Argentine twist, and the Cau full English breakfast.
The design is also set to be a departure from previous Caus, with a more industrial and imposing feel, according to creative director Patsy Godik.
Graham Hall, operations director, said: "We have been honing the offering over the last 12 months and I know CAU Bristol will show how much we have pushed the brand forward, creating what I know will be a brilliant all-day offering."
Cau most recently opened its fifth UK site in Kingston upon Thames in April and launched Cau Tunbridge Wells in February this year, and London Blackheath in November 2013. All three restaurants are set to start offering brunch, making them all-day dining destinations.
Cau is owned by the same shareholders who own steak restaurant group Gaucho. The group has a seventh site (including the new Bristol restaurant) in Amsterdam.
