Carluccio's to open Woking site

Carluccio's is to open a site in Woking Shopping, a leisure and retail centre in the town, this November.

The Italian chain will take on a 4,099 ft sq site on the newly pedestrianised Commercial Way.

Carluccio's chief executive Simon Kossoff said: "We look forward to the opening of Carluccio's in Woking later this year and hope the new restaurant will be as successful as our other Surrey locations. Woking town centre is undergoing an extensive refurbishment and we are excited to be a part of the plans."

Ray Morgan, chief executive of Woking Borough Council, added: "Their combination of restaurant, shop and deli, combined with al fresco dining in a specially created location, means they bring something quite different to Woking."

JLL and Nash Bond represented Woking Shopping. Kelion Sworn acted for Carluccio's.
