Carluccio's to open new Caffé in Brighton

Carluccio's will open a new store in Brighton next month.

The company, which listed on the Alternative Investment market last year, said it had opened two new restaurants since the year end.

Carluccio's Caffés opened in Westbourne Corner, London, and Oxford Castle, and the company said today that Brighton remains on target for a February launch.

Recent trading has also been strong at the group.

Executive chairman Stephen Gee said at the company's annual general meeting: "I am pleased to report that group turnover is 21% ahead of the prior year for the 16 weeks to 15 January 2006."
