Cabana to open sixth site

Brazilian barbecue restaurant group Cabana is to open its sixth site this summer, in London's O2 Arena.

The launch will coincide with the start of the football World Cup, which is being held in Brazil this year.

Co-founder David Ponté, said: "At such an exciting time for Cabana and Brasil, we are extremely pleased to be opening at the O2, the world's busiest music venue and look forward to expanding further."

The new 5,000 sq ft site, including outdoor seating as part of the 220 covers that are spread over the two-floor site.

Cabana was founded in 2011 by Jamie Barber (Hush, Villandry, Sake No Hana) and David Ponté (Momo).
