Brasserie Blanc breastfeeding sign goes viral

A sign inviting breastfeeding women to relax in the restaurant has gone viral after being picked up by parents across the country.

It was inspired after O'Connor looked after a breastfeeding mother who had been struggling in the heat.

O'Connor told the Independent: [The sign] was literally from a mum that was tired. I made her a cup of tea and she looked like I'd given her a million pounds.

"I wish I'd done it ages ago, if I'd known it would make people feel more confident.

"Sometimes you just need to sit down with your baby. Not everyone is as confident, and it's not as easy for everyone. You can't just sit on a park bench sometimes."

She added that the sign has had an "unbelievable response", with emails from across the world. It has been shared almost 8,000 times and liked 11,500 on parenting social media site RefreshMe.
