Bournemouth fine-dining restaurant sold to local operator

Barings restaurant in the heart of Bournemouth is to be rebranded Nino's under new owner, local restaurateur Antonino Arnone-Scimeca.

The 70-seat restaurant on the corner of Wimbourne Street sold less than a month after being put on the market.

One unusual feature is the walk-in vault, a reminder of its previous incarnation as a bank.

The Winchester office of Christie + Co sold the leasehold off an asking price of £112,500 on behalf of father and son team Rae and David Tugwell.
