Boom Burger to open second site

Jamaican-influenced burger restaurant Boom Burger is to open a second London site, in early February 2015.

The business opened its first site in Portobello Road, west London, in February 2014. The new location next to Brixton market will offer a dine-in and takeaway service as well as a large outdoor seated area.

The menu, devised by head chef and founder Josh De Lisser, will offer some new specials, extra hot sauces and a larger drinks selection.

They will sit alongside favourites such as plantain fries, the Jerk (chicken) burger, the Pork Boom and the classic Boom Burger with bacon jam.

The interiors will reflect the feel of the Jamaican restaurants De Lisser grew up with, with reggae LPs lining the walls and a Jamaican soundtrack played throughout.

The restaurant will seat 30 diners on the ground floor and more outside.
