Bill's to open site in Liverpool ONE complex
Casual dining group Bill's is to open a site in the new Liverpool ONE development this summer.
The 3,153 sq ft space is located near the Hilton hotel in the same complex, and is the first for the group in the city, and the second in the north-west region.
The venue will serve the site's usual all-day menu of pancakes, eggs, fry-ups, Mediterranean-influenced platters, burgers, salads, grills, steaks and classic puddings. It also serves afternoon tea and a selection of cakes, plus a wide range of wine, soft drinks, coffees and cocktails.
Miles Dunnett, head of asset management, Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, which oversaw the deal, said that the restaurant's "breakfast to bedtime" offer made it particularly suitable for the area given its close location to several hotels.
Scott Macdonald, co-managing director of Bill's, said: "We are very excited to be opening in Liverpool ONE. With an emphasis on fresh and seasonal food, good service and great atmosphere, we are really looking forward to welcoming our first customers this summer."
Started as a greengrocer's in Lewes, East Sussex, Bill's is now run by former Caprice Holdings director Andy Bassadone, and runs to over 30 sites, with the aim to expand by around 25 new locations this year.
The Liverpool ONE development has also seen many new restaurant launches in recent months including TGI Friday's, the Hotel Chocolat Cocoa Café-Bar, independent coffee house Home, hamburger group Byron, brasserie Brown's, and a branch of Ed's Easy Diner.
The first phase of the £1b development opened in 2008 but it is still continuing to announce new openings and additions to the space.
