Bill Granger to open second London restaurant in Clerkenwell

Australian chef, restaurateur and writer, Bill Granger, is believed to be opening a second restaurant in London with a launch of a business in Clerkenwell.

The new eaterie will join Granger & Co, which opened in 2011 in Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill.

Granger operates a string of casual all-day dining restaurants, which include sites in Australia and Japan. Originally from Melbourne, he opened his first restaurant in New South Wales in 1993 and later launched in Japan in 2008.

The author of 10 cookery books, Granger is well known for his laid-back Antipodean approach to food. He has presented several Australian TV programmes on food and is a regular contributor to The Independent newspaper.
