3Sixty Restaurants to open Rocket site in Holborn

The 3Sixty Restaurants group has completed the acquisition of a new site in Holborn, London.

The new Rocket restaurant site is at 36-38 Kingsway below the Club Quarters hotel. It is due to open in September.

Owned by chief executive James Horler and restaurant entrepreneur Luke Johnson, the group comprises two brands, Ego and Rocket. There are eight Ego restaurants in the Midlands and North West and four Rocket restaurants - three in Central London and one in Nottingham.

The group reported a like for like sales increase of 9.6% to £13.1m for the year to March 2014.

Horler said: "We have been looking for suitable investment opportunities to expand the group and I am delighted that we have secured the new site for Rocket in Holborn. We had a very successful trading year with positive growth across the board. This has given the Board confidence to expand."

Chairman Luke Johnson added: "The business has performed well during the last two years and it is a good time to invest sensibly and wisely in expanding the brands."
