Pubs 'n' Bars buys three London properties

Pub operator Pubs 'n' Bars is buying three pubs in south London for a combined sum of about £3.7m.

The freehold properties, which have been acquired from Shannon Inns, are:

  • The Hampton Court Palace, at Elephant and Castle
  • Hansbury's Free House, in Lewisham
  • The Duke of Edinburgh, in Brixton

They will be paid for with a mixture of new shares and £2.6m in cash.

The acquisition will bring the total number of pubs operated by Pubs 'n' Bars to 97.
