Ever So Sensible takes £1m stake in Coventry scheme

Nottingham-based Ever So Sensible Bars has taken a £1m leasehold at a new eating and drinking development in Coventry city centre.

Opening in October, the 800-capacity site will be the third Dogma branded bar and eaterie from the company.

Ever So Sensible currently operates four outlets in Sheffield, Nottingham and Lincoln, two of which are operational Dogma bars turning over about £50,000 a week.

The new two-storey bar on an 8,500sq ft site in Priory Place, Coventry, is part of a £50m mixed-use regeneration project by Coventry City Council and Complex Development Projects to redevelop derelict parts of the city centre.

Davis Coffer Lyons acted for Ever So Sensible.
