The five-red-AA-star, 306-bedroom Rosewood London hotel has appointed Remus Palimaru as hotel manager, with immediate effect.
In his new role, Palimaru will report directly to Michael Bonsor, who occupied the role of hotel manager until his appointment as managing director in March.
Previously hotel manager for Dorado Beach, Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico, he will now oversee all operations at the Rosewood London from its 262 rooms and 44 suites to Scarfe's Bar, the Mirror Room, Holborn Dining Room and Sense Spa.
Palimaru said: "Finding Rosewood London was finding home for me. After fifteen industry years, living in five countries, serving six hotels and resorts and supporting numerous openings, I am very pleased to be back in London and look forward to working with the team to continue Rosewood London's uncompromising commitment to providing the very best in hospitality for its guests."
Bonsor added: "I am delighted to welcome Remus to the team as he will bring tremendous hospitality experience, drive and passion to the hotel. He will be a great asset to Rosewood London."
The Rosewood London was named Hotel of the Year - Group at the Catey Awards 2017, earlier this month.
