Lynn Hood appointed chief executive of Focus Hotels Management

Lynn Hood has been named as the new chief executive of Focus Hotels Management, succeeding Peter Cashman who has stepped up to become group chairman.

Hood joined Focus Hotels as chief operating officer in in 2019 after running her own consultancy business, Hotel Prosperity Ltd, where she spent eight years working with clients including Westmont Hospitality Group, De Vere Hotels and KSL Capital Partners.

She previously held board level experience as operations director for City Inn group.

Cashman said: "Lynn has successfully steered Focus Hotels through the recent pandemic and our results speak for themselves. Since joining us, Lynn has demonstrated that she is the right person to continue to deliver as we move into a more challenging trading cycle.''

Hood added: "I am extremely proud to take on the role of CEO and to continue building on the firm foundations that have been established over the past few difficult years.

"When Peter was CEO, he emphasised our commitment towards creating owner value and a sustainable business platform, which is a vision I share and will continue to realise as I step into his shoes."
