Liverpool's Urbanista hotel put up for sale as owners restructure

The 17-bedroom Urbanista hotel in Liverpool has been put up for sale for £1.5m as the owners re-evaluate their operational and development criteria due to Covid-19.

The property, which opened in 2019, has bedroom sizes including doubles, quads and larger suites that sleep up to eight, as well as a top-floor events space and terrace.

Larger suites include the Wild Corner and Secret Garden suites, which have private outdoor courtyards with flower walls, murals by local artist Jazz Stan, swinging egg chairs and bar areas.

Urbanista is owned by local developer Evolve Property Group. The former student halls building underwent a £500,000 redevelopment ahead of relaunching as a hotel, and is operated by Voya Hotels.

The venue has been placed on the market with Christie & Co.
