London Gin Club to become part of Inception Group

Inception Group has signed a 20-year lease to take on the London Gin Club in Soho, with plans to relaunch the venue in September.

Posting on Twitter, Inception Group co-founder Charlie Gilkes said he was "very excited" and "can't wait to continue the legacy created by Julia [Forte] and Vicky [Fisher]", while the former owners said they were exploring "new pursuits".

Having opened in March 2012, the venue was forced to close last year after Crossrail works caused structural damage to the property.

Inception Group has 11 London venues under brands including Cahoots, Bunga Bunga, Mr Fogg's and Maggie's.
