Top Torquay guesthouse changes hands

First-time buyer Christopher Gallacher-Smith and his wife have moved from West Sussex to run their new venture, the four-diamond Fairways guesthouse in Torquay.

The business, which offers seven en-suite bedrooms and a dining room, is located on the busy Avenue Road that leads into the Devon resort and is near the bay and the marina.

It includes a one-bedroom self-contained flat for the owners.

Business transfer agent Forum TT sold the freehold for the asking price of £380,000.
