The Bench expands coverage to 18 new destinations

Hotel market research analyst The Bench has announced it is to launch coverage of 18 new destinations this year.

The company, which teamed up with Smith Travel Research last year, will now complete online hotel benchmarking data globally.

More than 4,000 corporate and independent participating hotels from capital cities and regional towns, will now provide real-time daily data to more than 34,000 hotels worldwide.

The new destinations being covered are Vilnius, the Lithuanian capital and newly named European Capital of Culture 2009, Milan, Moscow, Prague, Riga, Rome, Stavanger, Tallinn, Trondheim, Antwerp, Bali, Beijing, Bergen, Budapest, Eindhoven, Halmstad, Jakarta and Kalmar.
