Sleeperz in deal to build near Cardiff train station

A budget hotel chain dedicated to building on land owned by Network Rail has agreed a deal to develop a property in Cardiff.

Sleeperz, which opened its first hotel in Cambridge in 2003, will construct a £3.8m five-storey building with 77 bedrooms next to Cardiff Central Railway Station.

The Cardiff site, including a restaurant and bar, has been specifically designed to fit into the Welsh location, just minutes by foot from the Millennium Stadium.

Further Sleeperz hotels are planned throughout the UK, with Manchester expected to be the next location.
