Roomzzz Chester aparthotel set to open in summer 2014

Roomzzz Aparthotel has announced that its Chester property will open in summer 2014.

Originally planned for opening in 2013, the 61-apartment property has been held up by planning issues with the conversion of the property close to Chester racecourse.

Mark Walton, head of Roomzzz Aparthotel, said: "We have taken every precaution to ensure that the conversion of an existing building is both sympathetic to the surrounding area and will complement existing buildings and structures. We are extremely pro-active as a brand to reassure our host cities that our developments are in tune with daily life and in keeping with the location."

When Chester is opened the Roomzzz portfolio will include six hotels in four cities including Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle, which all run at 90% occupancy, Roomzzz said.
