Robert Breare resigns as director of Snoozebox

Robert Breare, the former chief executive of portable accommodation provider Snoozebox, has resigned as a director of the company with immediate effect.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>

The firm reshuffled its business last month after a £4.4m loss for 2012, after it failed to capitalise on its London Olympics Games village contract.

Breare had already been asked to concentrate on sales and business development, while finance director Chris Upton had stepped down as finance director.

The new executive committee, which includes finance director Lorcan O'Murco and chief operating officer Gary Thompson, last week signalled that a reorganisation was likely to be on the cards.

Breare was previously chairman of pubs-with-rooms chain Merchant Inns until he was sacked in 2009 following a shareholder review.
